• There are black street signs “Hilltop Forest” starting from approximately 2km away (both from direction Helsinki and from Salo/Turku/Lohja). 

Getting here

Hilltop Forest is located in Inkoo, Finland; along the southern archipelago coast. We are ca. 60km west of Helsinki city centre and ca. 75km from Helsinki-Vantaa airport.

Public transportation is available:

• Bus connection between Helsinki - Inkoo (55min). Timetables can be found here (Search - From: Helsinki, To: Inkoo). There are several daily connections from morning to night. Hilltop Forest is 9km from the center of Inkoo town center, so a local taxi is required from the bus stop to Hilltop - we highly recommend pre-booking a taxi. 

• If you prefer a train connection, the nearest train station is Karjaa ca. 20km away.

• Currently trains do not stop at the Inkoo train station (only 3km from Hilltop!) but we are hoping to have the train station working again from 2024 (‘Rantarata’ / Coastal track).

Driving up the hill

You know you are close, when you reach the final steep hill leading up to Hilltop Forest (signage is visible at the bottom of the hill). The hill is easily accessible with all vehicles (during non wintery months), so don’t worry, drive up bravely! 

A TIP:  we do recommend picking up a bit of speed while you drive up. You do not need to be a rally driver but driving up very slowly might cause you to halt at the middle of the hill. If this does happen, and you do not feel comfortable backing down, give our reception a call. We’ll come and help you (it’s better to stop the car in the middle of the hill rather than accidentally backing up into the side of the road). Keep also an eye out if any cars would be coming down at the same time.

Parking

Guest Parking is located on your left immediately after you make it up the hill. Here you can park your car and walk the remaining 300 metres to reception at Hilltop House.

Disabled parking and deliveries: reception can also be accessed by car. Keep driving past the main parking lot until you reach Hilltop House.

Parking is free of charge.
